Who Are You?

I’m Katie.

I took this picture on the day my son took an unexpected 3 hour nap. I celebrated by putting on makeup, drinking tea, and not doing laundry. I like to look at this picture and think I look like this all the time. Most days I'm lucky if I brush my hair.

I took this picture on the day my son took an unexpected 3 hour nap. I celebrated by putting on makeup, drinking tea, and not doing laundry or any of the washing up. I like to look at this picture and think my life looks like this all the time. Most days I’m lucky if I brush my hair.

I’m one of the many women who have found themselves beautifully accosted by this behemoth we call ‘motherhood.’

I guess I’m also one of the many (over 3.9 million in 2011) mom bloggers out there. I realize it is a very saturated market filled with many voices.

I can’t promise any new insights, tricks, or miracles. I’m pretty new to the game. In fact, if you have any good advice, I probably need it.

I can offer you my stories, which might actually make you feel like a better parent in comparison.

Basically, I wanted a space bigger than Facebook.

Thanks for taking a peek.
